[My daughter is two and a half. During bedtime]

Lulu: Is Jesus in my belly?
Mom: He will come if you ask Him. Would you like Him to come into your belly?
Lulu: Yes.
Mom: Repeat after me. “Jesus…”
Lulu: Jesus…
Mom and Lulu: I disobey my parents sometimes. I need You, Jesus. Please come into my belly. Amen.
Mom: He’s in your belly now!
Lulu: Is He in your belly?
Mom: Of course Jesus is in my belly. He’s always with me. When I eat or study or clean the house. He will always be with you too.

[After putting Lulu to sleep]

Mom: Guess what Lulu said today!
Dad: What?
Mom: She asked if Jesus was in her belly and so we prayed together and asked Him to come into her belly! …Though I’m not sure where she got the idea of Jesus being in our bellies?
Dad: She probably had to poop.
Mom: …

룰루: 예수님 룰루 배 안에 있어?
엄마: 룰루가 물어보면 배 안에 들어오시지. 배 안으로 들어왔으면 좋겠어?
룰루: 응.
엄마: 따라해봐. ‘예수님’
룰루: 에수님…
엄마와 룰루: 가끔 엄마 아빠 말 안 들어요. 예수님 필요해요. 제 배 안에 들어와 주세요. 아멘.
엄마: 이제 들어오셨어.
룰루: 엄마 배 안에도 있어?
엄마: 그럼, 예수님께서 엄마 안에 계셔. 항상 함께 계셔. 밥 먹을 때나 공부할 때나 청소할 때나. 룰루랑도 항상 함께하실거야.

[룰루 재우고 나서 남편에게]

엄마: (감동하면서) 오늘 룰루가 뭐라고 했는지 알아?
아빠: 뭐라고 했는데?
엄마: 예수님이 룰루 배 안에 계시냐고 물어봐서 배 안에 들어오시라고 기도했어… 근데 왜 배에 계신다고 생각하지?
아빠: 똥 마려워서 그런가 봐.
